Sunday afternoon, in a frezing cold rain (literally, 32 degrees aind raining), I shot the Making Strides against Breast Cancer walk at the ballpark in downtown Manchester. Finding photo op's was not difficult, and the people there were amazing, and extremely outgoing. Covering events like this is always emotional. Having lost a few grandparents and more recently my dad to cancer, and having my mom survive a cancer scare, It hits home. Despite the horrible weather, the concourse at MerchantsAuto.com stadium was packed with participants, many of them survivors, and it really speaks to how important these events are.

Gibber, I'm so glad you were there! Since I walked by myself this year, I didn't bring my camera. It was cold, but it really warms your heart to see how many folks came out with us to support this cause! My only regret is that my many layers covered up all of my pink gear! Thank you for sharing your pictures!!!
